SATCH
This is the most recent addition to my collection, though it arrived when both of my Ravens were still in Australia being painted. It came from a picture of Joe Satriani playing a guitar with a custom graphic of his Super Colossal album cover printed on it. I decided that I wanted to have one myself, but having already expended a significant budget on guitars in 2020, for this one I went towards the cheaper end of the market and picked up a JS600 on Gumtree for just over £200. I created the album graphic in Photoshop and just for fun I created a graphic of the back of Satriani’s head to go on the back of the guitar. I got them printed online for about £25 and applied them on top of a white rattle can spray finish. I applied lacquer and upgraded the pickups and now the guitar sounds great.
